Technical Accounting Manager | 12 month FTC

Are you a qualified accounting professional with a strong technical background and a passion for driving audit excellence in a fast-paced, high-growth environment?
We are partnered with a Global business who are looking for an experienced Technical Accounting & Audit Manager to lead audit coordination, technical accounting application, and financial reporting across its UK&I operations. This is a newly created 12-month fixed-term role reporting into the UK Financial Controller, ideally suited for someone looking to make a significant impact within a complex, multi-entity structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end audit process for UK&I entities.
- Prepare and review statutory financial statements under IFRS and FRS 101.
- Draft technical accounting papers for complex areas such as revenue recognition, leasing, and key estimates.
- Liaise with external auditors, internal finance teams, and global stakeholders to streamline reporting and address technical queries.
- Deliver accurate quarterly group reporting, reconciliations, and management-to-statutory bridges.
- Support tax reporting processes (VAT, PAYE, PSA, CT) in partnership with tax advisors.
About You
- ACA/ACCA/CA qualified (or equivalent), with at least 5 years post-qualified experience.
- Big 4/top-tier accounting firm background strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS, especially IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
- Experience in technical accounting, financial reporting, and audit coordination.
- Comfortable working in a matrixed, international, multi-entity environment.
Please note this is a 12 month contract role where the client is needing someone to start in the next 4-6 weeks.
