Are you a qualified Management Accountant who enjoys being hands-on, close to the business and genuinely involved in how things operate day to day?
We’re working with a global organisation in Basingstoke who are looking to bring in a qualified Management Accountant to play a key role within their finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys ownership, visibility and working closely with senior stakeholders rather than operating at arm’s length.
The Role
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the quality, accuracy and insight of management reporting, supporting effective decision-making across the business.
This is a broad, business-facing role offering exposure to month end, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis, and would suit someone who enjoys variety, accountability and being part of the day-to-day rhythm of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations and control
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Providing financial insight to support business decisions
- Monitoring financial performance and identifying trends and risks
- Supporting audit processes and maintaining strong financial controls
- Working closely with operational and senior stakeholders
- Supporting continuous improvement across finance processes
About You
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
- Strong experience in management accounting and month-end reporting
- Confident with budgeting, forecasting and analysis
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, business-facing role
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive mindset
- Confident communicator who enjoys partnering with the wider business
Salary
- £55,000 – £60,000
