Interim Finance Transformation Business Partner

Talent Finance are looking for an experienced Finance Transformation Business Partner to direct and shape a CFO-level finance function, covering Financial Accounting, FP&A, Financial Compliance and Finance Systems.
This is a senior role with real influence, offering the opportunity to lead a high-performing team, work closely with senior stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement across finance operations.
The Role
As Finance transformation Business Partner, you’ll take ownership of the direction and delivery of all financial activities within your function. You’ll provide strong leadership, ensure robust governance and controls, and play a key role in shaping finance strategy and performance.
You’ll lead by example, developing your team while building trusted relationships across the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the delivery of all financial activities, ensuring they are completed to agreed time, cost and quality standards
- Set and deliver functional finance strategy and objectives
- Provide strong line management, guidance and performance leadership to your team
- Ensure effective financial controls, governance and compliance frameworks are in place and adhered to
- Oversee the provision, analysis and integrity of financial information
- Drive process improvement and innovation across finance activities
- Build and maintain strong senior stakeholder relationships
- Support the development of CFO policies and procedures where required
- Train, develop and mentor Finance Managers and Finance Analysts
- Coordinate team deliverables and resource planning
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture
About You
You’ll be an experienced finance leader with strong business partnering skills and the confidence to operate at senior level.
- Proven experience in finance leadership and stakeholder engagement
- Strong background in financial management, controls and governance
- Ability to lead, develop and motivate high-performing teams
- Comfortable driving change and continuous improvement
- Professional qualification is not essential, but demonstrable financial and leadership experience is required

- Be a British Citizen
- Have resided in the UK for the past ten years for DV clearance – This role requires Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
