We’re working with an award-winning creative business to find a Head of Finance who can do more than just keep the numbers straight. This is about being at the heart of a fast-moving, ideas-driven agency, shaping how the business grows and making sure financial insight drives the big decisions.
You’ll be part of the leadership team, sat alongside senior creative and commercial leads, and your voice will matter.
The role is mainly office-based so you’re close to the team and day-to-day action (it’s that kind of business), but there’s some flexibility on hours. It can be four or five days a week (salary pro rata for four days), so it works for someone who wants both influence and balance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Running the full finance function end-to-end, from compliance through to strategy
- Partnering with the senior team on pricing, budgets and growth plans (big part of the role)
- Delivering management accounts, KPIs and performance reporting
- Overseeing statutory accounts, HMRC compliance and company secretarial duties
- Driving smarter use of financial systems (Sage, Synergist, Time Tastic)
- Managing and developing a small, talented finance team
- Supporting on commercial and HR compliance (contracts, benefits, policies)
What we’re looking for:
- CIMA / ACA / ACCA qualified
- 5+ years in commercial finance (experience in creative/agency/marketing/professional services is a big plus)
- Strong management accounting and KPI reporting background
- Hands-on and detail-focused, but also able to step back and think strategically
- Comfortable with financial/PSA systems
- Collaborative, confident, and thrives in a dynamic, creative environment
