Regional Director | South Coast

Talent Finance are pleased to be partnering exclusively with a fast-moving, forward-thinking business that’s heading into a genuinely exciting phase of growth. They’ve been successful for many years, but what really stands out is how much they care about their people. The culture is collaborative, supportive and very down-to-earth, and finance is seen as a true partner to the wider business. Your insight is valued, your voice is heard, and you’re part of shaping what comes next.

This role would suit someone who wants to keep developing both their technical and commercial skills, enjoy real visibility across the operational side of the business, and play an important part in a finance team that’s growing and evolving with the organisation.

About the Role

As the Group Accountant, you’ll sit at the heart of the finance function and work closely with the Head of Finance. You will consolidate results across several group entities, produce accurate monthly reporting that tells the story behind the numbers, and provide clear analysis that helps the wider business make confident decisions. This is a hands-on role where your ideas will be listened to and where you’ll have the chance to help shape processes as the business continues to grow.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts with clear commentary.
  • Consolidating results across multiple entities.
  • Working with operational teams on budgeting and forecasting.
  • Producing meaningful financial analysis that supports commercial discussions.
  • Keeping a close eye on costs, margins and working capital.
  • Maintaining strong financial controls and reconciliations.
  • Supporting the year-end process and working with external auditors.
  • Helping to improve ERP reporting and drive automation.
  • Contributing to cash-flow forecasting and treasury work.
  • Supporting continuous improvement across processes and reporting.

What we’re looking for:

  • You’ll be a newly qualified or finalist accountant, whether ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
  • Experience working within a group structure or multi-entity environment is important, especially around consolidations and intracompany transactions.
  • Strong technical skills combined with commercial awareness.
  • Advanced Excel and good exposure to ERP systems.
  • Someone who is detail-focused, organised and calm under pressure.
  • A confident communicator who enjoys working with people across the business.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a natural problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience in a product-based or operational environment, for example manufacturing or distribution, would be beneficial but it is not essential.

What’s on offer to the successful candidate:

  • A competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Hybrid working, agreed with the Head of Finance.
  • Thirty-three days’ holiday including bank holidays and a Christmas shutdown.
  • Free on-site parking.
  • An annual wellbeing allowance after your first year.
  • Regular social events and prize draws.
  • A genuinely supportive, inclusive and forward-thinking team.
  • The opportunity to have real influence as the finance function continues to grow.
