We are recruiting for an FP&A Analyst/Accountant to join the central finance function of a well-established, values-led group of companies based in Dorset. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and a passion for business planning to contribute to high-impact decision-making across the group.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of FP&A, the successful candidate will support key Treasury and Financial Planning activities, including:
- Supporting the production and ongoing development of the Group’s financial business plan and quarterly forecasts.
- Running scenario and stress testing to assess risk and resilience in a range of economic conditions.
- Preparing analysis for external submissions, including the Financial Forecast Return (FFR) to the Regulator of Social Housing and annual credit rating assessments.
- Assisting in the group’s cash flow forecasting and monitoring of key financial and development performance metrics.
- Improving financial data integration and supporting the development of planning tools and reporting processes.
- This is a varied and influential role that sits at the intersection of finance, risk, and strategic planning, ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, systems, and cross-functional stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from individuals with experience in a similar FP&A or analytical finance role, ideally within a group or multi-entity structure. You will also bring:
- A relevant finance ACA/ACCA/CIMA or treasury qualification or equivalent experience.
- Strong skills in Excel (advanced level essential), alongside familiarity with financial planning and reporting tools.
- Sound understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills, with confidence presenting data to a range of audiences.
- A proactive approach to process improvement, data integrity, and collaborative working.
- Experience with scenario analysis, stress testing, or regulatory reporting would be advantageous, though not essential.
