You’re a qualified Financial Accountant with solid post-qualified experience and confidence in statutory and regulatory reporting. You’re hands-on, detail-focused and comfortable supporting audits, consolidations and VAT-related work. Now you’re looking for a role that gives you broader exposure, real ownership and the space to develop, without a long-hours culture.
We’re recruiting two Financial Accountants into a supportive, collaborative finance team where culture genuinely matters. This is a role with variety, responsibility and visibility, suited to someone who enjoys technical accounting and takes pride in getting things right.
£55,000 – £60,000 | Hybrid & Flexible Working | Wareham, Dorset
You’ll take ownership across a broad range of financial accounting responsibilities, including:
- Preparing statutory accounts for multiple entities
- Supporting year-end and external audit processes
- Assisting with consolidated group accounts
- Coordinating regulatory and external financial reporting
- Supporting VAT returns and liaising with HMRC and external advisers
- Providing technical accounting input across the business
- Driving continuous improvement and better ways of working
- Supporting and developing a junior team member
- You’ll be trusted to own your areas, with support and guidance from experienced finance leaders when needed.
This role will suit someone who:
- Is ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Has solid post-qualified experience in financial or statutory accounting – would suit a move form Practice or Industry
- Is comfortable with audits, statutory accounts and technical detail
- Has exposure to consolidations and VAT-related work
- Enjoys working collaboratively and building strong relationships
- Takes ownership and follows things through
