Talent Finance are partnering with an established manufacturing business to recruit a Finance Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract.
This is a broad, hands on role where you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, working closely with the Managing Director and Group Finance, with support from an Accounts Assistant.
The business is going through change, so they need someone adaptable, confident and comfortable taking ownership in an evolving environment.
The role
What you’ll be doing:
• Monthly management accounts and month end
• Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow
• Year end, audit and Group reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
• Stock, WIP and operational finance
• Providing financial insight to the MD and wider business
• Improving processes, reporting and controls
• Supporting the Accounts Assistant
What we’re looking for
You may already be a Finance Manager or an experienced Management Accountant ready for greater autonomy. Manufacturing experience would be beneficial but isn’t essential, and the business is open to qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience candidates.
What’s on offer
Salary: £50,000 to £55,000
Location: Corfe Mullen, Dorset
Contract: 12 month fixed term contract
Working pattern: Hybrid working following an initial bedding in period
