Join our client as a Corporate Tax Senior, where you’ll take ownership of compliance work, support strategic advisory projects, and help guide junior team members, all within a supportive, ambitious, and values-driven environment.
As a Corporate Tax Senior, you’ll manage the preparation and review of corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with UK tax legislation. You’ll work closely with clients, handle complex tax matters, support junior team members, and play a key role in delivering high-quality, efficient tax services that genuinely add value.
Key areas of responsbility in this role:
- Prepare and review tax returns and tax accounting workings (current and deferred tax)
- Provide technical support and advice to clients on corporate tax issues and planning
- Liaise with HMRC on client matters and more complex queries
- Assist with advisory projects; including reorganisations and one-off transactions
- Support, mentor, and guide junior team members on day-to-day queries
- Proactively manage a portfolio of clients, delivering work with minimal supervision
- Keep multiple tasks and deadlines in check with precision and care
Skill and experience required for this role:
- A professional qualification (or working towards) ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent
- Experience in corporate tax within an accountancy practice
- Strong technical skills and a passion for quality
- A collaborative, proactive mindset and the ability to take ownership
- Confidence working directly with clients and building trusted relationships
- Pride in doing a job properly and bringing others with you
