Assistant Management Accountant

Talent Finance are currently working in partnership with a leading multi award winning fashion brand based in London to assist in recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this Assistant Management Accountant role will help manage the day to day operations of the Management Accounting function and will be responsible for supporting the business to improve systems and reduce unnecessary costs.

We are looking for a detail orientated part-qualified or QBE Management Accountant who wants to join a fast growing organisation and very much assist in shaping and driving efficiencies in the Finance team.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Ownership of transactional finance duties
• Support with producing accurate and timely management accounts for the business, providing commentary where necessary
• Variance Analysis – highlighting key issues, trends and working closely with the Financial Controller to improve performance
• Work collaboratively with other stakeholders on various intercompany projects

We would love to speak to candidates with the following background for this role:

• Part Qualified Accountant (AAT, ACCA or CIMA) OR QBE with demonstrable experience.
• Confident Excel user with experience of using NetSuite being advantageous
• Has worked in a fast paced, ever evolving Finance department previously
• Highly analytical with excellent problem solving skills

On offer for this role is a salary of £35,000 – £40,000 with an excellent benefits package inc. 24 days holiday + bank holidays, enhanced pension scheme and private healthcare.

You would be required to be in the office in Hoxton, London 2 days a week with core hours being between 10 – 4 on these days so you can work around these times. The company would also look to support studies post probation should the successful candidate wish.

Our client is looking for someone to start as soon as possible so candidates on a 4 week notice period or less would be desirable.
