Overview:
A prestigious boutique investment bank in Paris seeks an accomplished Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Partner with a specialised focus on the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience, industry insight, and a proven track record in the TMT space to drive high-value transactions and strategic growth for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Deal Origination and Execution:
- Identify and source high-potential M&A opportunities within the TMT sector.
- Lead and manage all phases of the M&A process, including target identification, valuation, negotiation, due diligence, and integration.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, including corporates, private equity firms, and other financial institutions.
Client Management:
- Develop and deepen client relationships by providing strategic advice and tailored M&A solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their strategic objectives and delivering exceptional service.
- Present complex financial analyses and transaction structures to clients in a clear and compelling manner.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of M&A professionals, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure the successful execution of transactions.
- Promote continuous learning and professional development within the team.
Market Insight and Strategy:
- Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies within the TMT sector.
- Provide thought leadership and contribute to the firm’s market positioning and business development efforts.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance the firm’s M&A advisory capabilities.
Skills:
- Deep understanding of TMT industry dynamics and trends.
- Exceptional analytical and financial modelling skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
Language: Proficiency in French and English is required.
